What is Fasting?
By definition, fasting is intentionally abstaining from food (not fluids) for spiritual purposes. But fasting is much more than skipping meals for God. We must think of fasting not as abstaining from food but as feasting solely on God.
Fasting brings you into a deeper, more intimate and powerful relationship with the Lord. When we fast, we get our hunger back for the presence of God.
